Now, how did I get involved? I went from tagging up my city and stealing what I could from people on the street to leaning into academics, opening my mind to strategies and the history of civilizations, which has taught me that fighting is about resources, alliances, contracts, but also brute force, luck, and an undeniable determination. I wasn’t even sure I was still alive as it looked like Hell on Earth.
I wanted to throw hands. I wanted to bang. So, Judas locked me in a library, where I only had my own thoughts and tomes of knowledge. I was hellbent on destroying everything, but eventually came to my senses and started reading the material I had initially disregarded. When I would emerge from the library and lose my temper, Judas insisted I retreat and quell my thirst with knowledge instead. Over time, I realized I had gravitated to certain manuscripts and had been establishing the powers of a Warlock, which became the central focus for me. I indulged in dark spells and rituals until it was second nature, and I began documenting my own notes. I did not let my physical gifts depart. I honed the blade as I learned the magic. They gave me a new moniker; they call me the Prodigal Son.

Personality: In regular society, Caleb seems quiet, kind, and sweet; He genuinely cares for his family and friends, and he’s very talented for a 28-year-old supposed adult male. However, deep down, Caleb has a fractured psyche. He’s told a woman mercenary once that he’s so broken because he constantly feels threatened all the time and needs to be tactical in all situations. he’s anxiety stricken and that has led to him having PTSD. He has very low self-esteem but is focused almost to the point that he’s obsessed with getting himself and his family to a safe point in his and their life. He’s violent when he has to be and considers that to be a positive spin on his challenges, but this often is due to having his family constantly threatened by bounty hunters, mafia members, criminals, and just those that want the bounty on his and his family’s heads and those that he cares about. Caleb is often good at reading a situation alone, but when hes talking to a group, he lets the topic flow by him unless he is asked or directly talked to hes fine with just a meal, money, and a Venom energy drink for his troubles whenever he handles jobs where he handles supernatural forces. He’s not mysterious, but he doesn’t want anyone to worry, so he doesn’t often speak about his challenges or what bothers him. Caleb, after years of training, had decided, after being captured by the church on the advice of Judas, his mentor and the only best friend he partners with, to forsake his name, but allowing the few to use it, meaning the six in his circle: Selena, his middle sister, Kaliya, his youngest sister, Judas, his upperclassmate and brother-in-law, Sarah, his sister-in-law, and Aimee, his girlfriendHe’s a complicated individual, willing to take the darkest of steps for the most positive reasons and taking the punishment for it. He’s not easily pressed, but given the chance, he would prefer not to swing unless forced, giving him a sense of Pacifism. hes not exactly the most goody, and he’ll show you when you’re not welcome or liked. He shows humility and is humbled when given the chance to prove himself, and a lot of the time will let you know when he doesn’t agree with something, but give him a good reason for something, and he’ll generally agree if you can sway him. His emotional intelligence is high given that he understands right from wrong, and prefers to stay morally stable between the lines, but his emotional competence makes him hard to understand; perhaps it is in this ideal that he is Detached due to feeling like he abandoned his only family. He likes to think himself adapting to his situation at most points, though there are times that he falters, and his silence is his greatest weapon and his most formidable opponent. He talks very little but says much if one listens without judgement or perceived notions. In many ways he’s very cordial, and that shows a high charisma about him.He prefers the idea that hes being punished by karma and his issues are no grounds or excuse for acting out or giving others a hard time. BIO: Once there was a boy who lived in Florence, Italy, with a wealthy family in a world like ours. He used to live with a full family—a sister, a mother, and their father. The year was after 1939, the start of World War II. They lived under the care and protection of the church, and they were scholars and priests. They grew up like his mother and father. Caleb, aka Ciaran, as he was known at the time, and his sister Selena grew up like their parents, gaining supernatural abilities that would put a mark on their heads. Later on, the church ended up using the Holocaust to hunt magic users. It was an attempt to control and find the Nazis, who were using mysterious artifacts to give themselves supernatural abilities. It was like Hitler using the Spear of Destiny to become an idol himself in an attempt to control the world’s holocaust. For the most part, the world events weren’t something that affected the kids, as they were protected by the Vatican. A young, beautiful Egyptian girl who looked no older than maybe seventeen would come into their lives as a refugee that Selena met and pulled off the street to their house to escape the Nazi authorities. That would put a black mark on her head for being Jewish after she escaped the Italian death factory Risiera di San Sabba in Trieste after she was trafficked from Alexandria on December 19, 1941, and held captive for two years while the “preparations” were being made. They kept her hidden for two and a half years, safe from the Nazi authorities, and became attached to her; they even gave her a street name—Kali; her real name was Kaliya Amber, which meant “amber, the beloved and the desired” in Arabic. For those years, they kept her hidden, learning how Kaliya loved, acted, reacted, and ticked; Kaliya was the kind of girl who had a curse where unfortunate circumstances hit all the people who cared for her. He and his sister are always trying to prove her wrong. Selena and Kali became best friends, and Caleb, Ciaran at the time, felt almost like a caregiver to Kaliya-Kali and Selena until the Church created and started the Italian witch hunt. Just after 1946, after three years since she came to be a part of the family, and after the end of the war. In a desperate attempt to drive the Nazis and criminals out of hiding, the church sent a new level of authority to witch hunters: warlocks. After the start of the Italian witch hunts, they learned that their actions would be rewarded; that night, the father and mother were never seen again. Like they say in alchemy, “to obtain something, something of equal value must be lost.” Soon they were orphans, and Caleb was now the leader of the night children. The events got more intense when they went into the orphanage and met the siblings Judas and Sarah Zahur. They became a family afterward. It seemed the worst was over until about a couple of years after their parents were reported missing. In 1950, four years after the Warlock program was activated and five years after the Second World War, the orphanage’s home was attacked by many individuals. The result was having Caleb’s and Selena’s powers awaken out of a mix of high-stress circumstances. Such examples were PTSD, fight-or-flight, high anxiety, and others, giving such abilities as Selena’s ability to manipulate lightning, fire, shadow, and aura, and Caleb’s ability to use pyrokinesis and cryokinesis; however, through their lives, they also gained their own individual powers, like Caleb’s ability to “spell” his body muscles and later on summon Nox, a wolf familiar that he awakens after a few encounters, and manipulate his own blood like his sister. Caleb, Selena, Sarah, Judas, and Kaliya alone took on and defended their home…for a time, but they only won the battle but lost the war as they were inexperienced. In the end, they were all separated by hunters, bounty hunters, witch hunters, men, and women running under any of the flags: dirty cops, nazis, and Vatican agents (warlocks and priests). Selena was sent to Kazan, Russia, and Caleb was showing thoughts of never seeing her, Kali, Judas, or Sarah again. The night of many that causes his nightmares. A couple of weeks after the attack on the orphanage, however, his world kept spinning, and he soon found himself brought among the church against his will, pulled strings by his roommate Judas himself.Yeah, they fought, and Judas understood his anger after he explained he was the one who orchestrated the attack. It was to give the idea of using him as a greater purpose after binding his abilities the night before when the children effectively held off a group of adult sorcerers: to become a warlock (Vard-lokkur). It was the name of a Vatican traitor to the dark, a caller of spirits, an effective war priest. The only catch was that he forsook his name. Ciaran at first denied it and belted him in the face and, for a bit, continued to fight him until Judas gave him the idea in his mind of a reward system where he got to see him see his family again. That was all it took for Ciaran to take on whatever the church asked of him, and soon Ciaran died that night. He was burned at the stake in front of his peers, spread by radio and television, and Caleb began training as a member of the High Council. Despite being a young witch, his grasp was high. He knew how to memorize, write, and understand—it made his powers that he awakened at the orphanage more intense and the body spells that he practiced in the books with Judas showed high potential. He was recommended to work on his weakness more than his strength and not buff out his muscles but bring out his potential. Call it fate or a god that he was starting to believe in. It was a rough first start, but he became an apprentice in the Warlock program. A program where he and Judas and many other of his allies are thrown into supernatural forces and battles, confronting them. Caleb was given levels for each confrontation he fought and won based on ratings from SSS to E. He instantly made two enemies off the bat: Alexis and Gabriel Regio of the Regio family, student and gifted warlocks and high members of the Italian syndicate in Italy, Spanish for “royal.” After a couple of large confrontations in 1950, three months after being drafted, he was on the Mafia’s hit list at a record-level time to be a threat…after a time where Judas reigned in Caleb’s hotheaded antics,(or you could say they took on jobs for a few years, everything was quiet for five years they were out on challenging journeys and it was calm until they got back and with afew days of returning a bomb goes off in the vatican possible by the lead of Alexis and gabriel of th regio family but theres no evidence that trumps Caleb being in that buillding with the bomb at the time with the tiarget the one and only judas Zahur, ever since then theyve been fighting authority, the church and the regio family
