Through genetic experimentation, she was given the splicing ability to shift into any animal she touches(or touched in the past time)(think Animorphs) (downside: she can’t be in a shift for more than 20 minutes before she has to shift back, or the animal instincts of her animal form take over. shadow materialization- shadow manipulation mainly follows into the ability to use her own shadows for certain needs, transportation weapons like solid black tendrils (like elfen lied only black and spear like) she can only use this when shadows are present, usually during light, or day. A weakness is that when she fights at night, she can’t use this ability. Additives- This one is mainly through training and working out. She’s slightly faster, constantly timing her runs stronger than average. Same for working out multiple times a day to keep herself from being stressed out. Clarvoyance(seeking information from around the area) is the ability to awaken your third eye. When Caleb was practicing like her siblings, Selena was ultimately able to open her third eye, making her a little stronger than Caleb but a little weaker too. She gained the ability to see that Caleb would be captured, but not by whom. When Judas found out that selena knew that he was gonna betray them, he sent her to the lab prison, knowing she was a greater threat than Caleb, even though Caleb was the “witch” to be taken by the military priest. In the end, opening her third eye is what got selena taken as well as Caleb… psychokinesis(moving things with mind) was an adrenaline ability after Caleb was attacked by the hunters. Through the sudden rush of everything at once, Selena, at times, can move, push, or pull things with her mind(a situation at the highest fighting point)

Her second most damaging weapon is a pair swords one being a claymore that grows normally slightly passed her height (6’0 at most(shes 5’8-5’9) it’s used for height and power but it’s often used with one hand or two as aelena uses thr claymore to use damage quickly She also is armed with her Bluteinferne katana a katene she made in russia in metal class it takes a certain amount of blood but its very lethal and fast A special kind of sword made years ago in traditional style by mixing the healing properties of Bloodstone and the hardest carbon steel and the sharpest to boot, but what makes her blade different is that it regenerates when she adds her blood to the blade properties making lt uniquely bloodstone used. The blade sharpens and “eats’ her blood, healing nicks, scratches, and breaks when made by wear and tear, though not often used due to the carbon stainless steel; the full steel weapon can’t be broken by weapon strength alone, though it was not always as such. A few years ago, it got so damaged by hits, traditionally. Selena did her best to find someone needed to technologically advance it to keep it usable, making it full steel.

She’s not bothered by it, but she does explain that she is not mean, just secure and calm. She really doesn’t have much to be nervous or giddy about. Strength: She’s armed with knowledge of laws and awareness; because of this fact, she has been able to hide so well

In battle, she’s easily unmatched in strategy; when alone, she’s slightly harder to fight thanks to how quickly she can switch her strategy.

Meanwhile, still no word of her brother; she didn’t know if he was still alive, but words came of a male being shipped off into the sea. With a heavy heart, she assumed the worst. The question kept her busy while she was working on her treatments. Finally, the time came, and she escaped… Four years later, Selena, now Setsuna, still hears the story of her disappearance, but now she’s changed her own features: the shift gene, the vampire gene.. Now she walks as a shadow at night and as an illusion during the day.
